THREAD: Black

TAIL: Moose hair

BODY: Silver or gold tinsel

WINGS: Black saddle, clipped or burned to shape

HACKLE: Grizzly

How to Fish

Dress the fly with floatant and use standard dry fly presentations.

Tying Instructions

1. Debarb hook, place in vise, start thread.

 
2. Tie in tail.

 
3. Tie in tinsel. Wrap forward and tie off.

 
4. Tie in hackle.

 
5. Tie in wings and burn or trim to shape

 
6. Wrap hackle through wings.

 
7. Tie off and whip finish
