Uses

An easy-to-tie pattern that is used during the chum salmon season (peaks in the last three weeks of November). It also works for other andaromous species that have just made the transition from salt to fresh water.

Variations

A more traditional and less flashy version uses Glo-Bug yarn for the tail, body, and wing (the wing substitutes for the throat).

How to Fish

Traditional wet-fly swing.
