Uncased Glossosoma
UsesGlossosoma (saddle-case caddis) larvae live under igloo-shaped cases made of small pepples and firmly attached to rocks. However, the larvae will sometimes leave their cases and drift downstream. They are highly visible to trout and are taken more often than anglers believe. This pattern imitates a drifting uncased Glossosoma.
