Looking for a little advice. My dad gave me an awesome gift-a trip with him anywhere I'd like to go. Well, I'm thinking fishing trip and I'd really like to get off the beaten path-so maybe pack in somewhere. He says a guide is a must, so I won't argue. I have never had an opportunity like this. I have fished Yellowstone, Montana, Idaho, but there is so much I don't know, which is why I would appreciate any ideas. I love to backpack, so packing in would be great, and of course would love to share some great fishing with my dad. Thought about the east side of Yellowstone Lake, but Montana, Wyoming, anywhere gorgeous. Not asking for secret spots, just a general area. Thanks in advance.

I would have to agree with Mudder, South fork of the Flathead. Beautiful country , extremely remote, and great fishing.

If the old man is paying and has a few bucks, consider the Spotted Bear Ranch. I hear it is very nice, especially the float trips. http://www.spottedbear.com/index.php
