bowfish	Their reels are worth what they are on sale for. Decent reels except the drags are a little loose. They can self adjust on you. Don't expect to get a $250 reel for $35, they are no Lamson or Ross.

elkdog	worst warranty in the world. they wanted me to pay $95+shipping to replace a broken rod i originally bought from them for $85.

46271	I bought a 8wt rod and reel last fall for a steelhead trip to Alaska this past spring. The rod did good, no complaints with it. The reel was not smooth at all and it would lock up and snap off fish till I turned the drag all the way off and just free handed the fish. The reel will go into emergency back mode now. Plus their warrenty is lacking. Have a pair of waders with a small leak, tried to return them. The hassel was not worth it and plus they wanted me to pay $70 to get them fixed or swaped out. So for me it is not a good deal. _________________________ I have a fishing license and a marriage license... but I only carry one in my wallet.

troutdaze	I have some Albright stuff. The GPX reel is sharp looking and sturdy, but the adjustment on the drag needs to be touchier-the dial doesn't provide enough accurate fine tuning. Overall, a good product for the price though. I also have their 8/9 wt Topwater rod and reel combo. Bought it for only $50(!!!) last fall (also came with line and backing). Caught an 8lb wild hen on it this fall with no complaints. _________________________ Word.
